Ce

to assist participants in obtaining useful training and experience that helps them progress from unemployment to employment from dependency to interdependency from exclusion to inclusion.

to provide useful work experience and quality training to participants, providing the opportunity to develop new skills so as to increase chances for positive progression in life.

Because we encourage and help C.E. Participants to train and apply for positions, many of them have experienced remarkable success. In fact, all but three staff working in Core funded positions in the Centre are ex-community employment workers on this or other C.E. Projects.

We are proud of all the staff involved in the C.E. Project

We are grateful for their dedication and hard work in supporting Mountwood´s various programmes. We are also proud of our achievement in providing a tailor made programme that is flexible and meets their needs. Last year they provided a total of 22,984 hours that´s an incredible 2,873 eight hour days. Also, and as a testament to their commitment, they undertook an average of 30 hours training each.

Mountwood´s C.E. Project continues to develop and research its own practice in order to assist participants in obtaining useful training and experience that helps them progress from unemployment to employment from dependency to interdependency from exclusion to inclusion. In addition to providing a tailored, flexible programme for each person, we also identify any extra supports needed for each individual during and after involvement with the project.
